Pinitin uses the shared SpiderTaz Network account framework. This page explains Pinitin-specific privacy handling for profiles, handles, posts, comments, reactions, follows, reports, public discovery, settings, moderation, and security. The central SpiderTaz Network Privacy Policy also applies when you use Pinitin.

Privacy Approach

Pinitin collects what is reasonably needed to run the platform, keep account access working, publish the public material users choose to share, protect users, prevent abuse, preserve useful public history, enforce visibility settings, respond to legal needs, and improve reliability. Pinitin does not sell personal information.

Information Collected

Pinitin may collect information you provide, information generated by your use of the platform, and information needed to operate and protect the service. This may include profile details, handles, display names, biographies, websites, social links, avatar or banner links, posts, images, external links, comments, reactions, follows, reports, visibility choices, settings, timestamps, account identifiers, session information, device or browser signals, IP-derived security information, logs, and communications.

Pinitin may also receive limited account identity information from the network account system as needed to authenticate you, associate your Pinitin profile with the correct account, enforce access, prevent abuse, and keep profile ownership aligned.

How Information Is Used

Pinitin may use information to provide accounts, profiles, posts, comments, reactions, follows, reporting, profile discovery, public pages, private settings, security controls, abuse prevention, moderation, analytics, indexing decisions, support, legal compliance, system administration, platform improvement, and network integration.

Pinitin may use public content to render pages, generate previews, create metadata, populate sitemaps, support search and discovery, show counts, link related activity, and keep public profile and post histories useful.

Public Information

Information you publish as public may be visible to anyone. Public profiles, handles, display names, posts, comments, images, links, social references, reaction counts, follower counts, and related public activity may appear on Pinitin, in metadata, in previews, in feeds, in sitemaps, in search engines, and in third-party services that crawl, cache, quote, archive, or share public pages.

Pinitin cannot control search engines, archives, screenshots, browser caches, third-party previews, reposts, outside links, or copies made by other users or services. Changing visibility or deleting content may not remove copies that already exist outside Pinitin.

Private And Restricted Information

Pinitin uses visibility settings to separate public, members-only, private, account, and operational information. Private settings, reports, account-only pages, moderation records, security logs, session data, and internal operational records are not intended for public display.

No online system can guarantee absolute confidentiality. Pinitin uses reasonable operational measures to protect private and restricted information, but does not warrant that unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, outage, or misuse can never occur.

Cookies, Sessions, Logs, And Security

Pinitin may use cookies, sessions, tokens, logs, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, protect forms, remember account state, prevent abuse, diagnose technical issues, enforce rules, and secure the platform. Browser, device, IP, referrer, route, timestamp, and request information may be recorded for operational, security, legal, and abuse-prevention purposes.

Profiles, Posts, Links, And Social Information

Profile and post features may include names, handles, avatars, banners, biographies, websites, social links, images, post text, post titles, links, comments, reactions, counts, follow relationships, timestamps, and visibility choices. Do not publish private addresses, private contact details, confidential business information, financial account numbers, government identifiers, medical details, passwords, private keys, or private information about another person.

Reports, Moderation, And Safety Records

Reports, abuse submissions, moderation notes, security signals, and enforcement records may be reviewed, restricted, preserved, and used to protect users, protect the platform, investigate misuse, preserve evidence, comply with law, and prevent repeated abuse. Reporter identities and private moderation notes are not intended for public display unless disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or platform integrity.

Sharing And Disclosure

Pinitin may disclose information when reasonably necessary to operate the platform, provide hosting or technical services, comply with law, respond to legal process, investigate abuse, enforce terms, prevent harm, protect rights, protect users, protect the owner, preserve evidence, transfer operations, or maintain network services.

Public content is disclosed by its nature. Reports and safety submissions may be reviewed and retained, but reporter identities and private notes are not intended for public display unless disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or platform integrity.

Retention And Removal

Pinitin may retain information for as long as needed for platform operation, account management, legal compliance, dispute handling, safety, backups, audit records, abuse prevention, security, and legitimate business purposes. Some information may remain in logs, backups, caches, or records after public removal.

Pinitin may delete, preserve, anonymize, restrict, or retain information according to operational needs and legal obligations. Public deletion requests do not guarantee removal from third-party systems.

Children And Sensitive Information

Pinitin is not intended for unlawful collection of children's information or for publishing sensitive private information. Do not submit private addresses, government identifiers, financial account numbers, health information, confidential information, or other sensitive data unless a feature specifically requests it and you have authority to provide it.

Your Choices

You may use available settings to update profile details, choose visibility, remove or revise content, or limit what you publish. Certain account, security, legal, operational, backup, and abuse-prevention records may not be editable or removable through public settings.

Updates And Contact

Pinitin may update this Privacy Policy when platform features, legal needs, safety needs, or operational needs change. Continued use after an update means the updated policy applies.
